1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MuncieDeals ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

MuncieDeals is an online marketplace that connects buyers and sellers in the Muncie, Indiana area. We facilitate listing creation, offer negotiation, and communication between parties. MuncieDeals does not take possession of or ship any goods.

3. User Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password.
  • You agree to provide accurate information during registration and to keep your profile up to date.
  • One account per person. Duplicate accounts may be removed.

4. Listings & Transactions

  • Sellers are solely responsible for the accuracy of their listings, including descriptions, images, and pricing.
  • All transactions are between the buyer and seller. MuncieDeals is not a party to any transaction.
  • Prohibited items include: illegal goods, weapons, controlled substances, stolen property, counterfeit goods, and adult content.
  • Listings that violate these terms may be removed without notice.

5. Payments & Fees

MuncieDeals does not currently charge listing fees or transaction commissions. Payment arrangements (cash, barter, etc.) are made directly between buyer and seller. MuncieDeals is not responsible for payment disputes.

6. User Conduct

You agree NOT to:

  • Post false, misleading, or deceptive listings.
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
  • Use the Service for spam, phishing, or fraud.
  • Circumvent security features or access other users' accounts.
  • Scrape or crawl the site without written permission.

7. Content & Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of content you post (images, descriptions). By posting, you grant MuncieDeals a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display your content on the platform. You represent that you have the right to post all content you upload.

8. Limitation of Liability

MuncieDeals is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any disputes between users, the quality of items sold, or any damages arising from use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed $100.

9. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, at our sole discretion, with or without notice.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
